Also known as the Gubinge, Billygoat plum, or Murunga, the kakadu plum is found in the Northern Territory and Western Australia. This small fruit is shaped like an almond, showing off a distinctive yellow colour when ripe.

In taste, it’s similar to apples and pears, with a citrusy twist. It’s long been used by Australian aboriginal people as an antiseptic and a pain-reliever, and holds the World Record for highest Vitamin C content.
